Intro to GMAT Workshop

Find out what it takes to be successful on the GMAT. In this single evening session, an expert Quantum GMAT instructor will being by reviewing the overall structure & format of the current GMAT exam. We will examine score requirements for various top schools and will provide students with some key GMAT test-taking strategies by tackling some real Math & Verbal questions in a mini-GMAT class. We will also devote some time to uncovering and highlighting the secrets to getting a high score on the GMAT. We will analyze the study habits of real top scoring GMAT students and benchmark key study criteria such as amount of time spent studying, # of practice questions they do, # of full-length mock exams. We will also discuss the key steps to building of an effective GMAT study plan, including identifying some excellent hidden resources available to help students achieve a top GMAT score.

Official GMATPrep® Mock Exam

Mimic your actual GMAT test day experience by writing a mock GMAT exam in a Concordia computer lab, proctored by Quantum Test Prep. You will be able to estimate your GMAT score level by writing a full-length simulated GMAT exam using the official GMAT software (GMATPrep®). The exam will consist of a set of previous real GMAT questions and will have exactly the same look and feel of the real exam. It will even be scored using a special computer adaptive (CAT) scoring algorithm, just like the real exam. Afterwards, a Quantum GMAT expert will be on-hand to provide you with a personalized exam assessment to help you identify your individual strengths and weaknesses.

Pre-GMAT Math Refresher

Unsure what a Quotient or a Factorial is? Can’t remember the definition of a Prime number? Or recall the difference between area vs. circumference of a circle? If you feel you’re rusty in Math or have some outstanding Math ‘anxiety’ and want to brush up on your basic GMAT Math skills, we strongly recommend you attend the upcoming Pre-GMAT Math Refresher workshop.

Spend an entire evening (6pm-10pm) at the main Concordia MBA campus location in Montreal, Quebec. This specialized Pre-GMAT Math Refresher class, designed and taught by expert GMAT instructors from Quantum Test Prep, will help you brush up on your basic Math skills before you formally start preparing for the GMAT exam. Specific Topics covered include: Algebra & Arithmetic, Geometry Formulae, Number Property Theory, Math Terminology Review, Exponents & Roots, Divisibility Rules, and more.

Pre-GMAT Verbal Refresher 

Confused when the pronoun acts as the subject of a clause? Do you know your adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions and interjections? Come and learn the rules of usage and principles of composition most commonly violated on the GMAT.

Designed by expert GMAT instructors with many years of teaching experience helping students hone their English grammar skills, this specialized Verbal workshop will help you brush up on your high school Verbal skills before you formally start preparing for the GMAT.

Topics covered include: Parts of Speech, Verb Tenses, Grammar Terminology, and Parts of a Sentence.

Integrated Reasoning Demystified 

Designed by expert GMAT instructors with many years of teaching experience helping students home their English grammar skills, this specialized Verbal workshop will help you brush up on your high school Verbal skills before you formally start preparing for the GMAT.

Containing a variety of new and different question types, the recently introduced Integrated Reasoning (IR) section of the GMAT has proven to be a unique and challenging test taking experience for most students. In this single evening Integrated Reasoning Demystified class, get all the details about the structure and format of the IR section of the GMAT. We will also discuss some useful IR test taking strategies as well as go through a small set of practice questions for all 4 Integrated Reasoning question types.

Topics covered include: Multi-Source Reasoning, Table Analysis, Graphics Interpretation, and Two-Part Analysis.

Concordia GMAT Bootcamp

Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business has partnered with Quantum Test Prep, one of the leading GMAT companies in Canada, to offer an inten­sive one weekend GMAT Bootcamp prep course in Montreal. This 30hr single weekend workshop is open to anyone who is interested in taking the GMAT whether they are planning to attend Concordia or not. This course provides students with a summary review of all the major GMAT exam sections (Math, Verbal, Integrated Reasoning and Analytical Writing). Classes are held over a single weekend (Friday to Tuesday), including full days on Saturday and Sunday (9am-6:30pm) as well as evening classes on all weekdays (6pm-10pm).
