The MBA admissions interview can be a decisive factor when the admissions committee assesses your desirability as a candidate for their school and program, in some cases making or breaking your chances of admission. A typical MBA interview lasts 20-30 minutes and is usually undertaken by a member of the admissions committee who will strongly influence the admission decision. You want to make a great impression in your interview but it’s natural to be nervous about this part of the process. Our MBA admissions interview coaching is designed to help you get ready for your business school interviews, allowing you to feel confident, relaxed and prepared for the real thing. We give you access to an expert in business school admissions who has interviewed thousands of students on behalf of two of Canada’s top business schools. She knows what the admissions committee is looking for and will give you advice on how to improve your interviewing skills.
Included in our services:
- Admissions interview preparation tip sheet
- 15 minutes: pre-session application documents review by interview coach
- 30 minutes: mock interview
- 15 minutes: interview feedback
During the mock interview, you will be asked questions that will be similar to those you are likely to encounter in your admissions interview. Following the mock interview, you will get feedback and advice on your personal presentation, communication skills, and content. Upon completing this session, you will have a greater understanding of what your MBA interview will be like, how to prepare for it, and how to deliver effective responses to MBA interview questions.
Please note that we will not provide feedback on the essays, transcripts or resume during our MBA interview training session, but you may choose to provide them in order to help the interview coach deliver the most realistic mock interview possible.
