For students interested in just obtaining a topic specific GMAT review (i.e. Math or Verbal), we have quantized our full 100-hr Ultimate GMAT course into three (3) topic specific GMAT course modules spread out over five (5) consecutive weekends.

Two of these weekends, GMAT Intermediate Math (M2) and GMAT Advanced Math (M3), have been combined together into our new Quantitative Reasoning II (QR-II) course module.

GMAT Intermediate Math (M2)

The first QR-II weekend provides students with a detailed review of two (2) main Intermediate/Advanced GMAT Math topics; Word Problems as well as Exponents & Roots.

The first half of our Intermediate Math course module is our Word Problems workshop. In this workshop, we review all the main Word Problem question types that appear on the GMAT exam. All other things being equal, students generally have more trouble with Word Problem questions than they do with pure Algebra or Arithmetic questions. Usually, the most difficult aspect of these questions for students is finding a way to accurately translate the “Words” into “Algebra”. In this day and a half workshop, we will systematically review all the main Word Problem question types and provide students with a solid set of standardized tools and techniques that can be used to solve these problems efficiently and effectively.

The second half of our Intermediate Math course module is our Exponents & Roots workshop. In this workshop, we review all the main Exponents & Roots question types that appear on the GMAT exam. Exponents & Roots is generally a more difficult topic for most students because most Exponent & Root questions do not simply test students on a single Exponent & Root rule, but multiple rules combined together into a single problem. Consequently, for most students, these question types also prove to be some of the trickiest Math questions on the entire exam. During this workshop, we will review all Math theory required to answer even the most complex Exponent & Root question out there. Topics covered will include Exponent Theory, Root Theory, Quadratics, Scientific Notation, and Limits of a Root. Other related topics covered in this workshop will include Digits Terminology, Inequalities, and Absolute Value.

GMAT Advanced Math (M3)

The second QR-II weekend provides students with a detailed review of two (2) main Intermediate/Advanced GMAT Math topics; Statistics and Geometry.

The first half of this course module is our Statistics workshop. In this workshop, we review all the main Statistics question types that appear on the exam. Although still the least weighted Math section overall on the GMAT, Statistics is absolutely the fastest growing section in terms of weight. For this reason, most students do not spend enough time studying these topics and are consequently surprised at how just many Statistical based questions appear on their exam.

During the course of this workshop, we provide a comprehensive review of all the major Statistics based question types (including Probability, Permutations & Combinations, Factorials, Standard Deviation and more). We also provide students with a complete set of proprietary Quantum tools, techniques, and processes to solve each of these question types quickly and easily.

The second half of our Advanced Math course module is our Geometry workshop. In this workshop, we review all the main Geometry shapes, formulae, and topic types that appear on the GMAT exam. The main shapes include triangles, squares, rectangles, and squares. The main formulae include Area, Volume, Perimeter, and Surface Area. Other more Advanced Geometry theory covered includes, Pythagorean and Super-Pythagorean Theorem, Pythagorean Triplets, Impossible Triangle Rule, Coordinate Geometry, and 3-D Geometry. All topics covered in the Geometry workshop will be discussed in a Problem Solving (PS) format.
